Surreal Project

I don't like cigarettes. I hate them actually. I made this picture and associated cigarettes into them because I'm trying to tell people 'you aren't the ones smoking the cigarettes, they're smoking you.' I could've made the picture better by using a different background, but I like the originality of it.
I didn't put much thought into this picture. I could've done so much more, but I didn't have many ideas. I could've made the skull look like it was actually part of my head.

I chose the Surreal artist Fred Einaudi. His paintings caught my eye the most because of how morbid they are. I like how he can take a really pretty pictures and turn them into morbid, disturbing things.

Macro
This one I used flash. I'm not exactly sure I like it. It kinda looks like the dead flower is on the spotlight.
This one is more natural, which I must say I like better. It uses all natural lighting which makes the object look more real.
This is a picture of the kitten I got for Christmas and couldn't keep. I put a macro lens on my camera and took this. Not much explanation, I think it could be a lot less blurry.

Emulated Artist

the artist I picked is Rebekka Guoleifsdottir. don't ask me to pronounce that, cuz I really have no idea. I decided to choose her pictures because I like the modernism of them. They aren't too complicated, they don't have way too many colors, they're just simple.
This is one of my good friends Katie Bloom, she acted as my model for the self portrait as my artist.

Digital Montage Numero Uno

I don't exactly know what the theme of this one is, I just thought it looked cool. I pretty much just took a picture of a girl, put it on a green background and put a sweet umbrella behind her head. It took a lot of work, which is why I kept it. The whole thing I was trying to get at was if you dream big, anything can happen.
What should my theme be? What other items could I add to portray the theme I was trying to get at.

My second montage was inspired by my favorite band Owl City. Adam Young, the lead singer is the man with the coffee cup. what I was trying to portray in this picture is that you shouldn't be afraid to think differently then others. I think the tv acting as his face adds abstractness to it.
What could I have done differently? Could I have added more things to blend things easier?
